I felt very happy and excited my stomach dropped with happiness because I got in to Envirokids and a bit nervous too. One thing I am excited about is hopefully growing successful vege's.

Paris, Daisy and I are going to be learning about growing and constructing a herb garden with all sorts of herbs, and I think it will be very exciting creating a herb garden and maybe being able to use herb to cook food.

Today we painted our garden beds white , I enjoyed it because I like painting and love art.

Today we got to paint our own section of a garden bed and I painted a rainbow it looks really cool. I enjoyed it. It was lots of fun.

Today Daisy and I did up the display of the Envirokids Notice Boards wall in the office. We put up photos and information and little cute fruits :) It looks really good and colouful

Today the envirokids went on a adventurous walk to look at the beauty of the Hakanoa Lake, it was really beautiful, the time we spent there was well used, taking photos and it feflt like it was a long walk. By the time we got back it was just Morning Tea.

Today we talked about what veges we could grow in our garden, and what designs we could do in our gardens, and other cool suggestions. We have changed our place where we were going to have our garden, we are now having the garden beds in the grass area by the school swimming pool.

Today we started planting lately we have been composting the garden beds and now we have sowed some seeds today I sowed Peas, Beet (rainbow lights) and herbs (parsley) yum!!!
